Bodyguard is an upcoming Hindi romantic action film directed by Siddique. A remake of the director's own 2010 Malayalam film, Bodyguard, the film is being produced by Atul Agnihotri and features Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor in the lead roles. Bodyguard is scheduled for release on August 31, 2011.

Production
Shooting for the film began on January 16, 2011 in Pune at SIBM, SIMC (Lavale) and later continued in the historical town of Patiala.
Soundtrack
The film's original soundtrack has been composed by Himesh Reshammiya along with one song by Pritam while the lyrics are penned by Shabbir Ahmed and Neelesh Misra.
