Double Dhamaal, originally titled Dhamaal 2 is an upcoming Indian comedy film directed by Indra Kumar, and a sequel to the 2007 film Dhamaal. The project stars most of the actors from the previous film. New additions to the cast include Mallika Sherawat and Kangna Ranaut, as in the prequel did not star any actress.
The first look of the film was unveiled on 18 May 2011 along with the title track, while the theatrical trailer was released on 19 May 2011. The film is scheduled for release on 24 June 2011.
Production
The film is set to release on 24 June 2011, and shot in the Mehboob Studio, Mauritius and Hong Kong. At the 'Mahurat' of the film, it was announced that the four jokers, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Aashish Chaudhary and Jaaved Jaaferi will be reprising their roles as friends again, while Sanjay Dutt plays a millionaire this time. The film will focus on the four friends trying to invest Dutt's building, and trying the most hilarious ways they can think of to do it. The film finished shooting early May 2011, and brought rights to remake the song "Oye Oye" remixed from the 1989 action film, Tridev.
